My saw is sick

I think my saw may have some kind of drag on it or something. When we first got it, it would pull about 3-4 amps at idle (no load). Now it pulls 7 amps under the same conditions. The saw is only about 2 months old. Its a Park Sierra. Have any of you had this happen. When I called Park the first time they said 7 amps was too high for that saw and (http://maplered.com) now they are saying 7 is OK.
